Proteinuria is the main clinical symptom of nephropathy, and the detection of microalbumin is of great clinical value in determining the degree of disease and prognosis. Because the main symptom of nephropathy is a lot of proteinuria, thus the detection rate of microalbumin is very high. We observed changes in MUA in 107 patients with primary nephropathy in our previous work. Compared with healthy people,MUA in patients with primary nephropathy is significantly higher than that in healthy people, with an average MUA of 254mg/ml and a positive MUA rate of 96.26%. The normal urine test protein positive rate was only 44%. It indicates that MUA detection is more sensitive than routine urine detection. MUA testing is a more sensitive indicator of some kidney disorders than routine urine tests or total urine protein tests. Especially in chronic kidney function injury diseases, such as diabetic nephropathy, hypertension, systemic lupus erythematosus and other diseases, MUA test is more sensitive to prompt changes in renal function. Therefore, MUA and urine routine are recommended as routine examination items for related diseases.
